However, if they do this, I also believe that if you choose to exchange your HoF for whatever is offered, it would only be fair that your guild also is deducted all the power that it provided during the time you had it. I agree, I think they should offer something back if desired. When a single special building can produce the same benefit as tons of goods, dozens of troops, and many long hours spent fighting for new territories and defending what you have, active GvG players have every reason to feel insulted. For this reason alone the company should have apologized for their blunder.Īs for the Halls of Fame making a mockery of the effort people have put into GvG it is extremely bad game design. After this, their paying customers are going to think twice before spending money on anything new and shiny, and it will reduce the income they get their from their games. Of course most players are not going to bother, but this is still extremely damaging to InnoGames. I believe that if any diamond buyer were to sue InnoGames over this to get their money back, they would probably win.

What InnoGames did here was on a far smaller scale, but no less wrong. If that were to happen, the average customer would punch the car salesman in the nose and sue him. Halls of Fame being deliberately nerfed immediately after being sold would be like having your car salesman tell you he is going to take away your brand new Porsche and leave a second-hand Volkswagen in its place. But this case is something entirely different. Halls of Fame will of course lose value as they become outdated with new ages being released, and that can be compared to a car losing value due to wear and tear over the years. I can only say your analogy here is extremely poor.
